Roxann 'Roxie' Nelson began their career in 2005 as a Realtor Associate at Exit Realty. Roxann 'Roxie' then moved to the Department of Children and Families - SAMH Program, where they served as Fiscal Director from 2005 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Central Florida Cares Health System as a Contract Manager and Quality Specialist. From 2014 to 2015, Roxie worked as a Compliance Consultant. In 2019, they became a Florida Certified Contract Manager at the STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. Most recently, in 2022, Roxie began working as a Resource Manager (at Orlando Health) for Kolter Solutions. In this role, they oversee the contractor processes, maintains a database of contractors, works with Leadership to understand roadmaps and resource assignments, documents processes, conducts data analytics and provides reporting, completes financial analysis and forecasting, develops resource skillset matrix, and assigns available employees to projects by their skillsets, previous experience, and availability.
Roxann 'Roxie' Nelson received their M.S in Healthcare Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1996 and their B.A in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 1994.
