Sara Allison has been working in the professional world since 2007. Sara began their career at UnitedHealth Group as a Recruitment Assistant before transitioning to Hebei Normal University as a Foreign Teacher - International Trade in 2008. In 2009, they moved to Gap Inc. as an HR Analyst and then to Blanning & Baker Associates in 2010 as an HR/Benefits professional. In 2013, they began working for Willis Towers Watson as a Project Manager and Business Analyst/Team Manager before joining Kolter Solutions in 2021 as a Project Manager.

Sara Allison received a B.S.B.A in Management and Environmental Science from Drake University. Sara also studied Chinese at Hebei Normal University.
