Dan Smith

Dan Smith is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the construction and mining industries. Currently serving as Regional Sales Manager and previously as District Manager at Komatsu Construction since March 2021, Dan has a proven track record of driving sales growth in a large territory with over 300 customers. Prior to this, Dan held various positions at Finning, including Major Account Manager and Mining Account Manager, where responsibilities included managing business relationships and providing customer service to over 1000 clients. Dan's career began as a Sales Intern, progressing through roles such as Inside Sales Representative and Major Product Support Representative. Dan also served as Territory Manager at Mark Anthony Group, focusing on sales and service in Southern Alberta. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from The University of Lethbridge and a Business Diploma in Marketing from Camosun College.
