Matt Briggs

Matt Briggs is a seasoned professional in business development and sales with extensive experience in the mining and mining equipment industries. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Komatsu since August 2025, Matt previously held the position of Senior Director of Sales at Generac Power Systems from December 2022 to August 2025. Matt's career at Komatsu Mining spanned over 16 years, during which roles included Business Development Manager, Global Account Manager, Western US Sales Manager, and product-focused positions. Matt holds dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Mining and Mineral Engineering and Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
