Jonas Kasteng

Jonas Kasteng has extensive experience in trade policy and advisory roles, currently serving as a Senior Adviser at the National Board of Trade since December 2008. Previous positions include Desk Officer at Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet, and Political Advisor at Sveriges Riksdag. Jonas has also worked as a Trade Policy Analyst at Jordbruksverket and as a Programmes Assistant/Consultant at ICTSD International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development. Additional roles include Adviser at FAO, Trainee at the European Commission, Project Manager at the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce in the USA, and an internship at the Arias Foundation for Peace and Human Progress. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in International Business from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, completed in 2000.
