Martin E. is an experienced advisor currently serving as a Desk Officer for Iran and Yemen at Utenriksdepartementet since November 2022, and also coordinates multilateral elections and affairs. Previously, Martin held the position of First Secretary at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Washington D.C., focusing on security policy, transatlantic affairs, and Middle East policy from August 2020 to November 2022. Prior roles include advising on security policy and North America at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working as Second Secretary in Teheran on sanctions and economic affairs, and serving as Executive Officer for trade relations with Iran.
