Melissa Agnello

Melissa Agnello, PhD, currently serves as Principal Program Manager for Go-To-Market Operations at Komodo Health, where responsibilities include managing strategic initiatives since January 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Solutions Principal and Senior Customer Success Manager at the same company. Co-founding M2Biome and acting as Scientific Director from October 2019 to January 2021, Melissa provided expertise in clinical research and commercialization within the human microbiome sector. Previous positions at uBiome involved leadership in medical affairs and research partnerships, significantly expanding external collaborations. Academic tenure includes a postdoctoral scholarship at UCLA, where project management and grant writing were key duties, alongside a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics from USC, where research focused on antibiotic resistance. Early research training was completed at the National Institutes of Health.
