Julian Bueno Risco

Julian Bueno Risco has a broad range of work experience starting in 2004. Julian began their career at the Servicio de Cartografía de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (SCUAM) where they worked on cartography and networks. From there, they moved on to the Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles as a Geographer, specializing in Vías Verdes. In 2006, they joined Mammoth Rutas y Aventuras as a Guide and Geographer, before transitioning to Argea Consultores in 2008 as a Geographer. At Argea Consultores, they worked on territory management, cartography development, and statistical atlases.

In 2016, Julian joined VIEWNEXT as a Systems Technician, and then moved to Clear Channel España in 2017 as the Technical Responsible of Digital Media. Julian served in that role until 2018, when they joined PA-CYCLING as a Travel Logistic Manager.

In 2019, Julian joined ARGEA CONSULTORES SL as an Argea SL, specializing in land-use planning, cartography, and digital viewers. Julian then became a Freelance Editor in 2022, where they focused on creating outdoor activity routes and guides, localization of content for Spain, and content translation from other languages. Currently, they work at komoot as a Senior Content Editor since 2023.
