Lukas Welte

Lukas Welte has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Lukas'smost recent role is as a Backend Team Lead at komoot, where they are responsible for building new features and scaling existing processes and services. Prior to this, Lukas worked as a Freelance Software Developer at Gigster and as a Digital Product Architect at aventris eSales AG, where they planned and developed web services and products. Lukas also served as the CTO at MovingTwice and as a Software Developer at app affairs GmbH and Actiworks. Lukas started their career with an internship at KTK-Consulting. Throughout their roles, Lukas has gained expertise in various technologies, including Kotlin, Java, AWS, Docker, Mesos, Scala, PHP, and JavaScript.

Lukas Welte holds a Master's degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the same university between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Lukas obtained a certification in Cryptography I from Coursera in February 2013.
