Markus Hallermann

Markus Hallermann is the Co-founder and CEO of komoot. Markus was previously a PhD student at LMU Munich, researching nanotechnology and photo voltaics. Markus is also the co-founder of generation next consulting, a company that focuses on innovation. In addition, they have worked as a research associate for GE Global Research, where they developed new technology in the field of renewable energy.

Markus Hallermann has a M.Sc. in Advanced Materials Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a B.Sc. in Physics from Technical University of Munich.
