Ilena Mece

Ilena Mece currently serves as an Associate at KOMPAS VC since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ilena worked at Credit Suisse from July 2018 to October 2022, holding positions as Associate in the IBCM Financial Sponsors Coverage Group and Analyst in both the IBCM Financial Sponsors Coverage Group and Derivative Solutions, as well as completing an Autumn Analyst role in Corporate Debt Derivatives in late 2017. Additionally, Ilena gained experience as an Intern in Corporate Finance Advisory at Rabobank and as an Intern in Corporate & Institutional Finance at RBS. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at Edonil Konstruksion, where Ilena focused on legal compliance for tender applications and industry analysis on sustainable energy resources in Albania. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Finance and Private Equity from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Bachelor's Degree in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, and a Bachelor Exchange at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, alongside a High School diploma from Petro Nini Luarasi.
