Carsten Smith

Carsten Smith is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the financial services and smart building sectors. Currently serving as co-founder and CEO of Trifork Smart Building since March 2024, Carsten has also held the position of COO at kompasbank since May 2018. Previously, Carsten worked at Nykredit as Group CIO and Executive Vice President from September 2014 to January 2018, and served on the boards of e-nettet A/S and JN Data A/S. Carsten's significant tenure at Danske Bank from March 2003 to August 2014 included roles such as Senior Vice President and Head of Real Estate Finance, overseeing various technology platform developments for retail banking and Head Office functions. Carsten began the career as SAP Services Manager at Zurich Financial Services and holds an MBA from SIMI, along with completed Board of Directors education from Bestyrelsesakademiet.
