Espen Molin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Espen is currently working as the Head of Marketplace at kompasbank, where they are responsible for developing a new business area that helps SMEs find digital solutions. Espen'sresponsibilities include creating the business strategy, building and designing the platform, establishing partnerships, and launching the platform. Prior to this, Espen worked at TD as the VP, Head of Digital Performance, where they managed a team of 40 people and optimized digital sales and servicing experiences across various channels. At Nordea, Espen held multiple roles, including Head of Digital Servicing Experience and Product Manager, where they delivered new digital platforms and services for small business and corporate customers. Additionally, they worked as a Global Product Manager and Business Developer at Saxo Bank, where they played a key role in implementing banking and investment advisory services. Espen has also gained valuable experience during their tenure at Samsøe & Samsøe as a Student Assistant and at Gardehusarregimentet during their military service. Overall, Espen has a strong background in digital strategy, product management, and business development.

Espen Molin has a strong educational background with a focus on economics and mathematics. Espen began their academic journey at Zahles Gymnasium, where they obtained a degree in Mathematics as a Matematisk Student from 1995 to 1998. Espen then pursued their bachelor's degree in Economics at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2000 to 2003. Building on their bachelor's degree, Espen went on to earn a Master of Science in Economics from the same university, completing their studies from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Espen Molin has also acquired various certifications throughout their career. Espen obtained the Dealing Certificate from the ACI Financial Markets Association in April 2006. Later, in June 2007, they obtained the Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance. In April 2017, Espen earned the SAFe 4.0 Agilist (SA) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.

In recent years, Espen has continued their professional development by obtaining several certifications from online platforms. In November 2019, they completed the DMIQ Bootcamp for Partners offered by Deloitte. In 2021, Espen obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and Section4, including Blockchain Basics, Section4 Certified Platform Strategist, Strategic Partnerships: Ecosystems and Platforms, Prof G Certified Strategist, Digital Marketing Foundations, Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization, Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership, and Sales: Develop a Service Orientation.
