Klaus Vilsen

Klaus Vilsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the banking industry. Klaus started their career as a Trainee at Nordea in 1987 and later held roles such as Investor Relations and Relationship Manager. Klaus then joined Handelsbanken i Danmark in 1996, where they held positions including Relationship Manager and Deputy Head of Department. In 2000, Vilsen became the Head of Branch at Handelsbanken i Danmark before moving to Danske Bank in 2005. At Danske Bank, they held various roles such as Senior Relationship Manager, Associate Director of Leveraged Finance, and Global Head of Loan Management & Loan Agency. Most recently, they joined kompasbank in 2018 as the Head of Operations.

Klaus Vilsen completed their education at three different institutions. Klaus attended Birkerød Gymnasium from 1983 to 1986, where they earned their Studentereksamen degree. After that, they pursued higher education at Copenhagen Business School, where they studied Organization & Strategy and obtained their HD degree from 1991 to 1995. Later, Klaus attended AVT Business School for executive education and completed their CBA degree from 2007 to 2008.
