Rune Nørregaard

Rune Nørregaard has extensive work experience, starting in 2004 at Bech-Bruun Law Firm as a Junior Associate and later becoming an Associate (Attorney-at-law). In 2008, they moved to Danske Markets as a Senior Legal Adviser before joining Føroya Banki as a Legal Adviser in 2009.

In the same year, Nørregaard became a Lawyer at BankNordik, where they held various roles including Chief Legal Officer and Head of Executive Management Secretariat. Rune then became the Chief Credit Officer and eventually the Head of Credit Management at BankNordik.

Throughout their career, Nørregaard was also a Member of the Board of Directors at P/F NordikLív, P/F Trygd, Vørður Tryggingar hf., and Kompasbank. The most recent position listed is as Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Kompasbank starting in 2022.

Rune Nørregaard has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended Faaborg Gymnasium and completed the upper secondary leaving examination in mathematics. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2004, Rune pursued a master's degree in law at Aarhus University. In 2016, they enrolled in IE Business School, where they completed a Global Executive MBA in Management in 2017. Rune's passion for continuous learning led him to Forsikringsakademiet in 2019, where they underwent the "Bestyrelsesuddannelsen 'Forsikring og pension'" program.
