Michael Ninness

Michael Ninness has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Michael is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Kompozition, a position they have held since February 2023. Michael also co-founded and serves on the board of Kompozition - Knowledge Connected since February 2019. Prior to their current roles, Ninness was the Director (Chair) and Managing Director at xAmplify from December 2018 to June 2021.

Ninness has also held various leadership positions in other organizations. Michael was the Director of National 91 Consultancy Services Pty Ltd from July 2018, where they demonstrated a track record of growing revenue, exceeding targets, and leading high-performing teams. From September 2019 to September 2020, Ninness served as the General Manager at FinXL IT Professional Services, and from June 2018 to September 2019, they were the Head of Client Strategy at Gravity Consulting Pty Ltd.

Before these roles, Ninness held several positions at AccessHQ, the largest independent assurance and testing service provider in Australia. Michael was the General Manager - NSW from May 2017 to June 2018, General Manager - Federal Government from October 2014 to July 2017, and Account Director - Federal Government from May 2014 to October 2014.

Ninness also has experience in client management and account direction. Michael was a Client Manager at Oakton from June 2013 to March 2014 and an Account Director at Capgemini from November 2011 to May 2013. Prior to that, Ninness worked as a Business Development Manager in the Enterprise Technology Group at Ingram Micro from September 2009 to October 2011.

Michael Ninness attended Marist College Canberra from 1987 to 1992. Michael pursued their higher education by earning an Associate's Degree in Advanced Associate Diploma in Security & Risk Management from Australian Forensic Services between 2005 and 2006. In 2015, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management from the Australian Institute of Business. Michael continued their education at the same institute in 2017, completing a Graduate Diploma in Management, also known as an MBA.
