Albert Keya

Albert Keya has a strong background in engineering and project management. Albert started their career at Engineo, where they worked as a Product Test engineer, assembling computer storage units and testing their functionality. Albert then moved on to Syndiant, where they served as a Mechanical Design Engineer, specializing in hardware and test systems design, product development, and thermal analysis. After that, they worked at PCI as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on product design, process management, and leading a team of CAD designers. Albert then joined Newtech Systems, Inc. as an Engineering Manager, overseeing various engineering projects. Currently, Albert is working at KONE as a Senior R&D Engineer, Project Lead, and Scrum Master. Their responsibilities include project management, assembly process improvement, field installation and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with technical codes and standards. Overall, Albert has extensive experience in engineering, project management, and team leadership.

Albert Keya earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University, which they attended from 2005 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Nairobi School from 2001 to 2004. More recently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of North Texas. Albert started their MBA program in 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2023. In addition to their degrees, Albert Keya obtained two certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2023, and Certified SAFe® 5 Advanced Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2022.
