Ilkka Ikonen

Ilkka Ikonen is the Director of the Lean Six Sigma and Continual Improvement office at KONE Corporation, where they currently lead global initiatives to enhance Lean and Six Sigma capabilities. Previously, Ilkka held various managerial roles at ABB, including Factory Manager in Estonia and Vice President at ABB Solar Inverters, where they focused on establishing new businesses and optimizing operational performance. Ilkka also served as a Global Operational Excellence manager and a Continuous Improvement manager at ABB, leveraging their expertise in data-driven projects to foster efficiency across the organization. Ilkka earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tampereen teknillinen korkeakoulu and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville.
