Premkumar V

Premkumar V is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the elevator and building management systems industry. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager and Department Manager for R&D Projects at Kone Elevator India Pvt. Ltd since May 2011, Premkumar V leads a team of project managers and chief design engineers to ensure successful product implementation from concept to supply. Previous roles include Team Leader for Red projects at Kone, where leadership was provided to experienced project managers, and Project Manager for R&D, managing products from the initial idea stage to production readiness. Premkumar V's career began at Kone in 1994 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee, later taking on service and training responsibilities. Prior to this, significant middle management positions were held in project and technocommercial activities across various notable companies between June 2002 and April 2011. Academic credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Crescent Engineering College.
