Sonja Lipsanen

Sonja Lipsanen is an accomplished executive at KONE, serving as Interim Managing Director for Norway, Denmark, and Iceland while also leading Sales and business development for New Building Solutions across the Nordic countries. With a strong background in operational management, Sonja has held various key roles within KONE, including Director of Global Operations, Regional Maintenance Operation Manager, and Business Controller for New Equipment and Modernization Business. Additionally, Sonja serves as a Board Member for LATO Strategy Tool and as Chairman of the Board for Juho Lipsanen Consulting Oy, overseeing operations in Private Equity with a focus on sectors like Health Care and Clean Tech. Sonja holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Turku School of Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree from Macquarie University, complemented by diverse educational experiences across international schools.
