Toni Basic, CCEP-I, CFE, currently serves as the Director of Ethics & Compliance for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions at KONE since February 2023, following a role as Compliance Manager in the same regions. Prior to KONE, Toni worked at BRF as a Compliance Specialist for International Markets from May 2021 to January 2023. Toni’s extensive experience at Marriott International from February 2014 to May 2020 included roles as Regional Compliance Manager for the Middle East & Africa, Internal Controls Manager, and Finance Supervisor within the Global Management Development Program, overseeing compliance audits, investigations into financial misconduct, training programs, and policy development. Toni holds a Master of Business Studies in Finance and Financial Management Services, along with a Master's degree in Financial and Accounting Forensics, both from the University of Split, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Studies in Finance and Financial Management Services. Initial experience includes internships at UHY International and the Ministry of Interior in Croatia.
