Niina Suhonen

Vice President, Brand & Communications at Konecranes

Niina Suhonen has a diverse range of work experience in communications and marketing. Niina started their career at Viestintä Oy Viisikko as a Communications Planner & Editor from 1996 to 1998. Niina then moved on to BNL Information Oy as a Communications Consultant, where they specialized in financial communications, managing projects and providing consulting services. From 2000 to 2002, they worked at Setec Oy as a Manager of Corporate Communications, responsible for the group's communications, brand, and financial communications. Niina continued their career at Perlos as a Manager and later as a Director of Corporate Communications, overseeing communications, brand, and financial communications. Niina then joined Ahlstrom as a Vice President of Corporate Communications, responsible for the group's communications, brand, and financial communications. In 2011, they became the Head of Communications & Marketing at Technology Academy Finland (TAF), managing their communications, marketing, brand, and program cooperation. Most recently, they held various leadership positions at Konecranes, including Director of Group Communications, Director of Group Marketing & Communications, and currently serves as the Vice President of Brand & Communications. In this role, they are responsible for maintaining the brand and overseeing communications for the global leader in material handling solutions.

Niina Suhonen has a M.Sc. (Econ.) degree from Aalto University, and they have also completed several executive education programs at Aalto University and Harvard Business School. These programs focused on strategy, finance, leadership, organization management, international business, business administration and management, as well as investor relations and securities law.
