Noreen Nichols

Noreen Nichols has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Human Resources, Americas at Konecranes, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Noreen worked at Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC., where they served as the Performance & Development Senior Manager from April 2021 to August 2022. In this role, they focused on implementing new development strategies, talent development initiatives, and advising executives on driving development initiatives.

Before their position at Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC., Noreen worked at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. for several years. Their roles at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. include Human Resources Director from April 2019 to March 2021, HR Strategy & Planning Senior Manager from June 2018 to March 2019, Employee Relations Senior Manager from January 2017 to June 2018, and Employee Relations/HR Manager from June 2016 to January 2017. In these positions, they oversaw various HR functions such as recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and HR strategy and planning. Noreen built and strengthened relationships with Honda executives, leaders, and associates, ensuring HR alignment with business and associate needs.

Noreen also worked as a Buyer/Graduate Assistant at The Ohio State University from 2001 to 2005 and as an Organizational Development Intern at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. in 2004.

Noreen Nichols, MLHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, completed their education at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where they received a Masters in Labor & Human Resources (MLHR) from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance from the same institution from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their academic achievements, Noreen has obtained several certifications including SHRM-SCP from SHRM in 2017, SPHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2015, and PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2009.
