Tero Vallas

Tero Vallas has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the crane industry. Tero began their career at Konecranes in 2006 as the General Manager of Materials Management at Konecranes Standard Lifting Oy. Tero later served as the Project Director in the same company. In 2009, they joined Konecranes as the Director of Operations Integration, where they were responsible for overseeing operational integration. In 2013, they were promoted to Vice President of IC Operations, where they played a key role in the company's business turnaround and general management. During this time, they led extensive restructuring efforts, implemented new product platforms, and focused on improving financial performance and safety and quality culture. In 2017, they took on the role of General Manager and Chairman of the Board at Noell Crane Systems (China) Limited. Tero returned to Konecranes in 2019 as the Director of Operations. Recently, they have become the Head of Business Development, where they are responsible for driving growth and strategic partnerships for the company.

Tero Vallas attended Aalto University in 2022, focusing on business strategy and leadership. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2012, they attended IMD for business management. Tero Vallas obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Economics from LUT University between 1984 and 1989.
