Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Konexus

Carlos Bittencourt has held a variety of roles in the technology sector over the past 18 years. From 2002-2004, they were the Webmaster for Positive Action, Inc. From 2004-2006, they were the Web Programmer & Developer for the College of Southern Idaho, where they also served as Web Committee Chair, PACE (Professional and Classified Employees) Committee Co-chair, and Manager of part-time/work-study individual contributors. Carlos also provided classroom training/lecturing for Summer camps, college students, and evening community courses in subjects of Adobe Flash, Digital Photography, and HTML. From 2006-2007, they were the Programmer Analyst II for Synoptek, where they were the Lead Developer of Global Product Development and Release Management custom development solution at Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. From 2007-2010, they were the Manager, Application Development for EnerNOC, where they were the Technical Lead in UI technology migration initiative from Flex to HTML5 and in Service-oriented integration projects. Carlos also wrote technical documentation and collaborated across teams and departments to deliver time-sensitive solutions. From 2010-2013, they were the Technical Site Lead for EnerNOC, where they were an individual contributor to the development of Flex-based applications and a mentor to junior developers. From 2016-present, they have been the Principal Site Reliability Engineer for KONEXUS.

Carlos Bittencourt attended Weiser High School and College of Southern Idaho from 1999 to 2001.
