Guanlan Dai

Guanlan Dai is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in building scalable systems and infrastructure. Currently serving as Site Leader and Director of Engineering at Kong Inc. since October 2017, responsibilities include managing open-source software engineering teams and overseeing the development of the Kong Gateway OSS and Kubernetes Ingress products. Prior to Kong, Guanlan held the position of Technical Lead at Cloudflare, where contributions included the end-to-end development of the Cloudflare Edge Platform and various SaaS features. Earlier roles include Systems Engineer at Cloudflare and AI Engineer Intern at Yinhan Games. Guanlan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Guilin University of Electronic Technology.
