Humberto Plais

Humberto Plais, MSc has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and countries. Humberto started their career as a Trainee at Fiat Auto in 1992 before moving on to work as an Import Specialist at IBM from 1993 to 1995. Humberto then joined GE as an Export Trader, where they were responsible for developing international markets for appliances and managing the export business strategy. Humberto then transitioned to Mabe, where they served as a Project Manager for the Mabe/Fagor joint venture in Russia, focusing on the distribution of appliances. Humberto later became the General Manager of the Mabe/Fagor JV in Russia, overseeing its commercial operations and achieving significant growth. In 2007, they joined Kongsberg Automotive as a Sales & Marketing Manager in Brazil, responsible for the sales and marketing operations of auto parts for the truck and bus segment. Over time, they took on more senior roles within the company, including Managing Director for Kongsberg operations in South America, and most recently, Director of Operations EU - FTS, where they played a pivotal role in expanding the business and improving efficiency. Throughout their career, Humberto has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills.

Humberto Plais, MSc has a strong educational background with a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Strategy from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, which they earned from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Marketing Management from INPG Business School in 1998.
