Trond Weberg

Trond Weberg is an accomplished professional in the oil and gas sector with extensive experience in engineering and operations management. Since August 2013, Trond has served as Vice President at KONGSBERG, focusing on Engineering and Operation Support for Kongsberg Oil and Gas. Previously, Trond held the role of Vice President Operations at SeaFlex from January 2011 to July 2013, where the responsibilities included managing riser and umbilical engineering. From January 2009 to December 2010, Trond acted as Chief Technology Officer at Kongsberg Oil and Gas Technology, overseeing product and technology strategy. Earlier in Trond’s career, positions included Product Manager at Kongsberg Maritime and Section Manager at Aker Engineering, along with work as a Research Engineer at Institutt for energiteknikk. Trond holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering specializing in Gas Dynamics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
