Kees van Houwelingen

Project Engineer Car Aftermarket at KONI

Kees van Houwelingen has extensive experience in engineering and communication, primarily in the automotive and rally industries. Since September 2012, Kees has worked at KONI as a Project Engineer for both the Car Aftermarket and BTT&D sectors, specializing in the design and development of shock absorbers for various applications, while providing technical support to international subsidiaries and local production. Kees has also maintained a communication role with the Bastion Hotels Dakar Team and previously with Dakar Team van Eikeren, managing their online presence and media communication during the Dakar rally. Prior experience includes mechanical engineering with Krohne Altometer and a foundational internship at KONI focusing on racing shock absorbers. Kees holds a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and has completed studies at other prestigious institutions.
