Sheila King McFerran

Sheila King McFerran has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in strategic business development and leadership positions. Sheila is currently the Vice President and Huntsville Growth Site-Lead at Koniag Government Services, where they oversee the company's operations and initiatives in Huntsville, Alabama. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at enGenius Consulting Group, where they focused on developing relationships with clients and strategic partners to drive growth.

Sheila also has experience in the non-profit sector, having served as the Chair of the Board of Directors at MillBridge Foundation, a STEM-focused organization aimed at mentoring and creating an effective STEM workforce. Additionally, they founded and led their own consulting firm, McFerran Consulting, LLC, where they provided training and executed operating plans for non-profit organizations.

Sheila's previous roles include Director of Business Development and Public Relations at Bailey Consulting Services, Co-Founder and Director of Energy Alabama, and National Director of Funding and Employment at Still Serving Veterans. Sheila also held leadership positions at Nexus Energy Center and HandsOn Greater Huntsville, where they directed operations and established various programs to support community needs. Throughout their career, they have developed strong relationships with industry and federal customers, including NASA, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, and Department of Homeland Security.
