Shan Swart

Shan Swart is an experienced visual designer and UX designer with a diverse background in design, development, and project management. Currently employed at KB nationale bibliotheek since June 2009, Shan's responsibilities include visual design, photography, and the development of marketing campaigns and social media strategies, as well as overseeing external designers and photographers. Prior to this role, Shan held various positions at IIAV, including Coordinator of Electronic Services and Webmaster, focusing on digital services, usability, and web development. Earlier career experiences include software development roles at Cap Gemini and Centric, along with a stint as a translator. Shan's educational background spans graphic design, software development, and writing, with qualifications from institutions such as Fotogram and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
