Boskalis
Bart Ursem is a geophysicist currently employed at Boskalis since February 2020, where responsibilities include establishing geophysical services, overseeing geophysical surveys, and managing data acquisition and quality control. Previously, Bart worked as a Geo Engineer at Boskalis Subsea Cables, focusing on integrating geophysical and geotechnical data for offshore energy projects, and contributed to the development of an electromagnetic cable detection tool. Prior experience includes roles as a geologist/geophysicist and intern at Stema Systems, processing seismic data and providing training, as well as an internship at TNO where Bart researched reservoir properties in the West Netherlands Basin. Bart holds an MSc in Earth Structure and Dynamics and a BSc in Earth Sciences, both from Utrecht University, and has also served as president of the Utrecht Earth Sciences Student Society.
