Giannis Theodoridis

Giannis Theodoridis is an experienced engineer specializing in offshore heavy lifting, currently serving as a Field Engineer and Project Engineer at Boskalis since September 2021, where responsibilities include the development of offshore execution methods. Prior to this role, Giannis worked as a Structural Engineer, focusing on structural design and analysis, and as a Junior Structural Engineer at MARIN, contributing to the development of Digital Twin technology for FPSO structures. Early career experience includes working as a Software Engineer at BETA CAE Systems, where Giannis applied machine learning algorithms to engineering applications, and as a Powertrain Engineer with the Aristotle Racing Team, focusing on gearbox design. Giannis holds a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
