Joost Ketelaars

Joost Ketelaars has over 20 years of work experience in various finance-related roles. Joost is currently the Finance Director at Boskalis, responsible for the finance division of Salvage & Towage. Prior to this, they served as the Finance Director at Vopak, where they oversaw the growth of the LNG infrastructure division globally. Joost also held roles as the Manager of Global Business Analysis & Strategic Finance, Manager of Finance & Investments, Treasury Controller, and Finance Manager at Vopak, where they were involved in financial planning, project controls, treasury transactions, and IT finance management. Before joining Vopak, Joost worked at VLS-Group as a Customer Service Team Leader, and at Broere Shipping as a Business Controller, where they gained experience in logistics and transportation.

Joost Ketelaars has a Drs degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Erasmus University Rotterdam, which they completed between 1991 and 1998. In 2017, they pursued further education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, earning a LEAD degree. Additionally, in 2016, they completed the Financiele Top Cyclus 2016 program at VRC. Joost also holds an Executive Master of M&A and Valuation degree from the Duisenberg School of Finance, which they obtained from the University of Groningen between 2013 and 2014. Furthermore, in 2008, Joost completed the Young Executive Program at de Baak, and in 2005, they attained a Register Controller degree in Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
