Stefan van de Sande

Stefan van de Sande possesses extensive experience in civil engineering, specializing in coastal and offshore structures. Currently serving as the Deputy Manager of the Rock Department at Boskalis since January 2013, Stefan provides expert support for projects involving rock scopes such as breakwaters and scour protections. Previous roles include Engineering Manager and Senior Coastal Engineer, contributing to the design of coastal structures for tender and project preparation. Stefan was also a member of the Taskforce Delta Technology, offering consultancy to local water authorities on significant infrastructural projects. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences. Notable research includes a paper presented at the 6th International Conference on Scour and Erosion.
