Arpi Karapetian

Arpi Karapetian is a seasoned professional in legal academia and publishing, currently serving as a Redacteur/Editor for the European Journal for Comparative Law and Governance at Brill, a position held since October 2023. Concurrently, Arpi has been an Assistant Professor and PhD Researcher at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen since January 2014. In addition, Arpi has taken on editorial responsibilities as a Redacteur/Editor and Secretary to the Editorial Board for the Tijdschrift voor Insolventierecht at Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory Nederland since April 2015. Previous experience includes serving as a Member of the Town Council for Gemeente Bedum from 2010 to 2014, a Legal Intern at Trip Advocaten en Notarissen in 2013, and a Legal Advisor at Rechtswinkel Groningen from 2009 to 2010. Arpi holds a cum laude PhD degree from the University of Groningen, where education has been ongoing since 2019, and has studied at KU Leuven in 2011.
