Bas Koning ter Heege has a diverse work experience. Bas started their career as a Corporate Finance Trainee at AenF Partners in 2013. In 2014, they joined Factor Bedrijfsovernames B.V. as an Overnamespecialist - M&A, where they worked on corporate finance projects for medium-sized businesses in the Netherlands. In 2017, they became a Business Analyst at Koninklijke Grolsch and later transitioned to the role of Sr. Financieel Specialist. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Finance & Recovery Manager at Grolsch, and since July 2021, they have been appointed as the Head of Commercial Services at the same company. Additionally, in 2022, they became a Bestuurslid and a member of the Communicatieadviescommissie at Stichting Pensioenfonds van de Grolsche Bierbrouwerij.
Bas Koning ter Heege holds a Master's Degree in International Financial Management from the University of Groningen, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Bas also holds another Master's Degree in Business and Economics from Uppsala University, completed during the same time period. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Economics from the University of Groningen from 2008 to 2012. Bas Koning ter Heege completed their VWO education at SG Twickel from 2002 to 2008.
