Floris van den Berg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Floris worked for Koninklijke Grolsch from 2014 until the present, holding positions such as Head of On Trade Sales, Head of Trade & Business Development, and Head of Retail Sales. Prior to that, they worked at Samsung Electronics in 2013 as a Retail Innovation Manager a.i. Floris also served as the Director of Merchandising & Promotions at Etos from 2011 to 2012. Before that, Floris held the position of Sr. Category Manager at Albert Heijn, where they managed soft drinks, juices, water, beer, coffee, tea, telecom, services, media, and entertainment categories from 2005 to 2011. Floris began their career at Orange in 2002 as a Customer Lifecycle Manager and Product Marketeer. Lastly, they worked at Wolters Kluwer Deutschland as a Customer Relationship Manager and Strategic Marketeer from 1998 to 2002.
Floris van den Berg completed their education at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from 1991 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Gemeentelijk Gymnasium Hilversum from 1984 to 1991, focusing on subjects such as Latin, Dutch, English, German, Mathematics B, Economics, and History. Additionally, they participated in the Ahold Retail Academy (ARA) at Cornell University in 2010 and the Ahold Management Program at Nyenrode Business University in 2009.
