Hans Gerrits

Hans Gerrits is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environment management with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Project Health Safety Environment Manager for Vopak since May 2019, Hans also owns Gerrits Consultants, a position held since February 2001. Previous roles include Safety Supervisor at PM Group (2018-2019), Safety Supervisor at Neste Netherlands B.V. during the BioC3 project (2017), and Safety Specialist for Schmidt + Clemens at Air Products turnaround (2017). Hans has also held safety supervisor roles at Franki Construct nv (2014-2016), Corbion (2014), and served as a Construction Safety Advisor for Abbott (2011-2013). Early career experience includes working as a Safety Advisor for CB&I and a Safety Consultant at Vopak. Hans holds a degree in Safety from Provinciaal Veiligheidsinstituut Antwerpen (1996-1997).
