Vice President - Global Projects at Vopak

Ramon M. has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on project management and engineering.

Ramon started their career at DieMuCo as a Maintenance Engineer from 1996 to 1998.

From 1998 to 2001, they worked at Proxima as a Chairman.

Ramon then joined the Nuon Solar Team as a Team Manager from 1999 to 2002.

In 2003, they began working at Shell International as a Pipeline Engineer, where they were responsible for the preparation and management of pipeline projects on Sakhalin Island until 2009.

At Shell, they also held the positions of Project Engineer/Manager from 2009 to 2014 and Project Manager from 2010 to 2015, where they oversaw complex projects such as the ECC Debottlenecking project and the SBM Pipeline Project.

In 2015, Ramon joined Hertel as the Managing Director, where they were accountable for managing the Singapore Operations until 2016.

Ramon then moved to Vopak in 2017, where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager, Terminal Manager, Director Projects and Engineering, and currently serves as the Vice President - Global Projects.

Ramon M. completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997. Ramon then pursued further education at Delft University of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermal Power Engineering from 1998 to 2002.
