Susan Phiri

Susan Phiri has extensive experience in various roles within the mining and educational sectors. Currently serving as Head of Contracts at Konkola Copper Mines plc since July 2008, Susan has achieved remarkable compliance rates and has played a key role in maintaining quality systems compliant with ISO 9001:2008. Previous positions include Quality Officer and Head of Anode Dispatch at KCM, where Susan ensured high-quality standards and efficient operations in copper production and dispatch. Earlier work experience includes a Lectureship at Evelyn Hone College, where Susan taught curriculum-related subjects, and a role as Procurement Engineer at Dunavant Cotton Co, successfully managing procurement processes and achieving substantial savings. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Production Management from The Copperbelt University of Zambia.
