Dhruv Agarwal

Dhruv Agarwal's work experience includes roles in various companies spanning different industries. Dhruv currently holds the position of Vice President - Sustainability, Innovation, Development at Kontoor Brands, Inc., where they oversee global sustainability strategy and implementation, as well as innovation and development. Dhruv has also worked at Cotton Board as a Member - Alternate and served on the Technical Advisory Committee Board at Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA). Prior to their current role at Kontoor Brands, Inc., Dhruv worked at VF Corporation as a Senior Director, Global Innovation, where they led materials innovation and established an innovation research lab. Dhruv also has experience at Albany International Corp. as Director - Global Product, Process & Technology (R&D), where they led cross-functional teams and completed multiple global projects. Additionally, Dhruv worked at Premiere Fibers, Inc. as the Process Control Head, overseeing product development and manufacturing processes, and held positions at Reliance Industries Limited and Century Enka Limited earlier in their career.

Dhruv Agarwal has a diverse education history. Dhruv completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing & Operations from the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Textile Engineering from The Technological Institute of Textiles & Sciences from 1991 to 1995. More recently, they participated in the Disruptive Strategy program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Complete Cotton 2022 from the International Cotton Association Ltd and certifications in Integrated Resource Management, Quality and Organizational Excellence, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Supply Chain Professional from various institutions.
