Jimmy Shafer

Jimmy Shafer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies in the apparel industry. Jimmy began their career at Sara Lee Branded Apparel in 1997 as a Marketing Manager and stayed with the company until 2005. Jimmy then joined Hanesbrands Inc. as a Senior Marketing Manager in 2005 and eventually became the Director of Sales from 2008 to 2012. Shafer then moved to VF Corporation, where they held various roles, including VP Sales and Vice President of Merchandising for Wrangler. In 2019, Shafer joined Kontoor Brands, Inc. as an SVP for Lee and the Vice President / General Manager for both Wrangler Traditional and Growth Initiatives Groups.

Jimmy Shafer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1993 and 1995. Jimmy then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington between 1999 and 2001.
