John Scrimsher

John Scrimsher has extensive work experience in the field of information security. John has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for multiple companies such as Kontoor Brands, Inc., GM Defense, Fuel Cells Systems Manufacturing, and General Motors. Additionally, they have served as a Director and Manager in the IT security departments of Oracle and Hewlett-Packard. John has a strong background in developing and implementing secure solutions, managing teams, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. John also has experience as a board member and advisory board member for organizations in the cybersecurity industry.

John Scrimsher obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix in 2008. John then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Wake Forest University School of Business, from 2022 to 2024. In addition, they attained a certification in CISSP from (ISC)² in 2004.
