Mikael Jalving

Mikael Jalving is a seasoned journalist and editor with a diverse background in media and academia. Currently serving as an editor at Kontrast and a writer at DOCUMENT.NO AS since early 2024, Mikael has been co-hosting the show '4. division' at DR - Danmarks Radio since January 2020. With experience as a political columnist for Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten from 2009 to early 2024, Mikael provided analysis and commentary while also hosting a weekly podcast, 'Jalving ser rødt.' Additional roles include examining students at CBS International Business School and directing at Ord der Virker. Mikael's prior podcast hosting at Kontrast includes titles such as 'Skudlinjen med Jalving' and 'TÆNDT.' Educationally, Mikael holds a PhD in History from the European University Institute and a cand.mag. in History and Political Science from Syddansk Universitet and Københavns Universitet.
