Erik Leroux

Hardware Designer at Kontron

Erik Leroux has extensive work experience in hardware design related to embedded computer systems. Erik worked at Kontron from 2003 to present, initially starting as a Hardware Designer and eventually becoming the Hardware Development Team Leader. In this role, they led a team of engineers that provided design services for hardware and low-level software for Kontron America. Erik was the lead designer for various commercial products, including the COMe-cPV2 and AT8050. Erik also worked on custom products for the gaming and medical markets. Prior to joining Kontron, Erik worked as a Hardware Designer at Guillemot Corporation from 2001 to 2003, and also at Kontron from 1999 to 2001, where they focused on electronic design and testing of single board computers.

Erik Leroux's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they obtained from Polytechnique Montréal between 1994 and 1998. Subsequently, they pursued a Specialized Graduate Diploma (D.E.S.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General, from HEC Montréal from 2006 to 2010.
