York Zhang

York Zhang started their work experience as a Sr. Product Scientist at Asian Smart Material in 1996 and worked there until 2001. York then became a Global Product Manager at Quantum Global Technology from February 2003 to April 2007. After that, they worked as a Sr. global Product Line Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from April 2007 to April 2008. York then joined Smiths Medical as the Head of strategic Globalization from April 2008 to August 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as the Director of strategic planning and execution at CareFusion. Finally, they are currently working as the Vice President/ Operation Head of APAC at Kontron starting in 2014.

York Zhang has a solid educational background, with a range of degrees and certifications. York obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, specializing in International Business Management, Marketing, Finance, and Technology Management. This was completed between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they received a Master's degree in Materials Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which they pursued from 1997 to 1999. York Zhang also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the Beijing Institute of Technology, graduating between 1992 and 1996. Furthermore, they hold a PMP certificate, although details regarding the institution and year of attainment are not available.
