Edward Tang ZY has a strong background in sales and technical roles in the technology industry. Edward is currently serving as Assistant Vice President - Sales at Konverge Technologies since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Solutions Sales Manager at Westcon-Comstor from April 2022 to February 2023. Before joining Westcon-Comstor, they held the position of IP Product Manager at Huawei Singapore from November 2021 to April 2022. Edward also worked at Westcon-Comstor as a Solution Architect from October 2020 to October 2021 and at Activeo Singapore Pte Ltd as a Senior Account Manager (Solutions) from October 2017 to October 2020. Edward has experience in technical roles as well, having served as the Senior Engineer and Head of IT & Network Design Department at Omega Innovation Pte Ltd from December 2016 to September 2017 and as the Senior Engineer and Head of Service Department at Omega Integration Korea Co., Ltd. from April 2016 to December 2016. Edward started their career at Omega Integration Pte Ltd, where they worked as a Senior Engineer in Project & System Design from August 2012 to March 2016.

Edward Tang ZY has a diverse education history. Edward obtained their BSc (Hons.) in Information Technology and Business from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) from 2007 to 2011. In 1999 to 2002, they pursued a Diploma in Electronic, Computer, Communication Engineering, majoring in Computer System Technology, from Singapore Polytechnic.

Additionally, they have completed several certifications in the field of networking and IT. Edward obtained their Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Security certification from Cisco in November 2022. Edward also holds certifications such as Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Security Firepower (November 2022), Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core (October 2021), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise (May 2021), Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation (May 2021), Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core (January 2021), Certified Meraki Networking Associate (CMNA) (November 2020), and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (July 2017). In addition, they have completed certifications in project management, including Project Management Basics from the International Institute for Learning in February 2011 and Project Management Fundamentals for IT Professionals in January 2011.
