Dom Davies has a strong background in mobile gaming. Dom is currently working as a Mobile Gaming Consultant/Advisor, where they help gaming studios improve their ad revenue, user acquisition efforts, and overall operation strategy. Dom also assists with product and live ops teams to enhance engagement, retention, and user experience. Dom has held leadership positions at various companies, including tastypill, Metamoki Inc., AppLovin, Kooapps, PlaySide Studios, Big Duck Games, Imangi Studios, and PlayChannel Inc. In 2013, they co-founded Heliovations, a development shop that eventually became a gaming studio, providing services for hire and developing and publishing their own products. Over the years, Dom's focus has shifted towards building prototypes and analyzing trends in the mobile ecosystem.

Creators of Pictoword, Pocket Family, Word Beach with over 250 million downloads across different platforms. Kooapps is an indie gaming studio, focused on mobile game design and development. We trace our beginnings to the 2008 release of Apple’s Software Development Kit (SDK). This led to a developer’s vision of building the first SAT flashcard application for the iPhone. This developer along with two other colleagues, all Stanford University alumnae, pioneered the team which later became Kooapps. Kooapps came from “Cool Apps” - which is the premise of bringing cool, entertaining and trend-setting apps. We are driven by the passion for our craft.
