Niels van der Vliet

Niels van der Vliet began their work experience in 2015 with an internship at Sligro Food Group. Niels completed several internships throughout their four-year study, including one at Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen in 2016 and another at Kotra Logistics in 2017. In 2018, they joined Maxxton as a Business Consultant and later took on the role of Product Owner/Manager, where they were responsible for the Operations Manager and the mobile Maxxton Operations app until 2023. Currently, Niels works as the COO/Operationeel Directeur at Koole Controls B.V.

Niels van der Vliet's education history begins in 2014 when they started attending the HZ University of Applied Sciences. Niels pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Logistics Engineering and completed their studies in 2018. During the same year, Niels also attended Leiden University for a brief period, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatica en Economie.

In addition to their formal education, Niels has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. Niels completed the Essentials of Leadership course at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in December 2021. In November 2020, they completed The Great Demo! course offered by Great Demo!. Niels also obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 certification from Capgemini in April 2019. Lastly, they acquired the Adviesvaardigheden certification from ICM in October 2018.
